What was it that was supposed to make AoC so special again?
Oh yeah, the whole "player skill" combat system. Heh.
I have to admit, it does take a certain amount of skill to mash those buttons in the correct order while watching your opponent's shield direction.
I found the questing system great: Just not enough of it. Balancing and bugs aside, if they dramatically increase the amount of quest content, and either do away with group-only dungeons entirely (or make putting together groups for them easier, or even making a random group option available, like some of the PvP tournaments in Guild Wars) it'll be a top notch PvE game. Crafting and Economy needs a heavy revamp, too.
PvP... hard to tell since I didn't try it at all, but apparently that also needs work.
I'll be interested in seeing where it's at in 6 months, or perhaps a year.
